Illustration of historical İznik
With its significant place in the history of the world, Iznik was home to major empires such as Rome, Byzantium and Ottoman Empire, and carried many important works of those periods to the present day. Besides this, many historical works are not in place today. In this bird’s-eye illustration study, the works of these three periods of İznik were brought together in the same image and as a result, a unique image emerged.
